Mary Fox has found her perfect job as a military spouse; itis both transferable and available all over the world. She is a linguist andan English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher. Her passion for this career field grew outof a hobby she developed while living overseas. Upon returning to the states, she realized this hobby had future career potential. Mary used her move back to the U.S. asan opportunity to enroll in graduate school. She received the Career Development Grant from the American Association of University Women, which allowed herto focus more fully onher studies. With her Master’s degree from Old Dominion University in Applied Linguistics, Mary started her own company, Fox Linguistics. In addition to running herconsulting company, she is a linguist for Treato, LLC andan ESL instructor at Tidewater Community College.
