Kaia Swift became interested in the nonprofit sector during a college internship with an organization that served Marine Corps families. From there, she interned with an education nonprofit, C-SPAN, a member of the US Senate, and an advertising agency where she primarily worked with clients on cause marketing campaigns. After graduating college, she knew she wanted to continue working alongside people who were dedicated to public service. That passion led her to a position with Washington D.C. nonprofit that went after corrupt politicians using legal and communication techniques.
Today, she works for a consulting firm that specializes in helping nonprofit clients implement technology strategies. She assists with marketing efforts and business operations, and above all, she enjoys working with a team that is enthusiastic about finding new ways serve the nonprofit community.
She holds a Bachelors in Journalism degree from the University of Missouri.
