Lauren Faul is a strategic communications specialist having worked largely in the Department of Defense arena for more than a decade. Beginning her career on Capitol Hill as a Communications Director for a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives she oversaw the press office covering both national and local media and targeted outreach efforts.
Lauren further developed her skills working for Headquarters Marine Corps in the Office of Legislative Affairs as a Legislative Liaison in the Pentagon while balancing her career and personal life as the wife of a Marine Harrier Pilot. Most recently, Lauren worked as a contractor for the Department of Defense developing action plans allowing military installations throughout the world to better engage and partner with neighboring communities on encroachment challenges that directly impact the military mission.
As the mother of five young children, Lauren most recently turned her focus to serve as President of a nonprofit, cooperative preschool she helped open with another military spouse in 2015. She is proud to have assisted in creating a community of encouragement, support, and empowerment to other young families in a strong military town. Lauren is a certified Life Coach and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Texas A&M University.
